The Attitude Shift
delivers the combination of a strong coverstock and a strong
core to generate tremendous hook potential on medium-oily to
oily lanes. To put it simply, the Attitude Shift is one of
Storm's best ever. |
| Lane Condtion Notes |
We used the Attitude Shift
on several different lane conditions. Each time, this ball was
the largest hooker in our arsenal. On a fresh house condition,
we were able to play inside the dry area without any worry of
over/under with fantastic results. The same went for when used
the Attitude Shift on the Viper pattern. The ball went
clean through the heads yet picked up the mid-lane
beautifully, setting up a very readable trajectory to the
pocket. This ball actually made the Viper pattern play easy.
Given how fast the Attitude Shift starts up, this is
not a ball to use on dry or burned-out lane conditions. |
| Gold Tip |
Most bowlers like get bowling
balls with "long pins." Pin lengths of 3-4" is
falsely believed to be the best for maximum scoring. Not only
is this not true, many of the best ball reactions come from
balls with shorter pins. Balls with 1-2" pins are great
choices for both high average and high-rev players. Short pins
offers a great way to drill layouts with the pin under the
fingers. We drilled one of our Attitude Shifts with
exactly this configuration--a label drill with a 2" pin
directly below the ring finger. Wow, this created a really
strong midlane reaction that helped us move another 4 boards
deeper than we were with our other Attitude Shift (drilled
with 3-4" pin above the fingers on the Center Line). |
